Bring dad on his special day for a gentle journey down the scenic Wear Valley in a luxurious first class railway coach while enjoying a sumptuous Gentleman's afternoon tea, consisting of sweet and savory snacks plus tea or coffee served at your reserved seat. Your journey will commence at the market town of Stanhope with one of the highlights being a stop on top of the Etherley Viaduct which is more than 100 feet high and from which you will be able to take in outstanding views of the surrounding scenery. Your journey will take two hours and during it you will see parts of the valley that are full of wildlife and natural beauty.
Your ticket price includes the two-hour rail trip in first class, an afternoon tea with unlimited hot drinks and your guaranteed seat reservation, plus a beer for dad.

When booking online, or by phone, you will be provided with a booking reference. Your ticket will be available for collection at Stanhope station ticket office on the day of travel, prior to boarding the train. The Ticket Office will open 60 minutes before the departure of your train.
